Description

A "proof of concept" for a Windows NT service written in in Eiffel. According to the author, this NT service "seems to work quite well, although it hasn't yet been used for industrial strength projects".

Features

Inherit from NT_SERVICE to create a new service. Inherit from NT_SERVICE_APPLICATION to initialize the service you want to run.

Supported compilers

• ISE Eiffel 5.3 (won't work with 5.4, not yet tested with 5.5)

Platforms

• Windows (2000 or XP - will NOT work under Windows NT)
