Description
ESE, or "Enterprise SmartEiffel", provides enterprise libraries to SmartEiffel (database components, object brokering e.g. web services, and so on).
The aims of the project are to:
- use the latest SmartEiffel technologies: non-conforming inheritance and plugins to name a few
- be totally SmartEiffel oriented, i.e. no compliance with any other
Eiffel vendor, no compliance to any "high level API" outside of
SmartEiffel itself
- be a buffer between SmartEiffel's way of changing core libraries
and real world code
- provide to the business world a very visible display of what SmartEiffel is capable of doing
