Description

EiffelCOM provides support classes and a "wizard" for building and reusing existing software components written using the Microsoft Component Object Model standard.

The EiffelCOM wizard enables:

• the fast development of COM components in Eiffel, and
• access to COM components from Eiffel systems

It consists of a series of dialogs, which ask about the component's characteristics. The wizard uses the data to produce an Eiffel system skeleton, the code to access or create a component, and the component-specific runtime libraries.

EiffelCOM is included in the enterprise edition of EiffelStudio
